Shan Masood Test Captain while Shaheen Shah Afridi Captain of the T20 Pakistan's Team

Shan Masood has been appointed as the captain of Pakistan's Test team, while Shaheen Shah Afridi has been named as the captain of the T20 team by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The captain of the ODI team will be announced later.

In a statement released on social media, the PCB announced that 34-year-old Shan Masood will lead the Test team, while 23-year-old Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead the T20 team. 

Shan Masood has played 30 Test matches for Pakistan and scored 1,597 runs with an average of 28.51, including 4 centuries and 7 half-centuries. His highest individual score is 156 runs. 

Shaheen Afridi, on the other hand, has taken 64 wickets in 54 T20 matches for Pakistan. 

The PCB decided to make changes in the national team and management after Pakistan's disappointing World Cup performance and Babar Azam's resignation from the captaincy in all three formats.
