Happy Birthday Living Legend Sunil Gavaskar
Born in Mumbai on July 10, 1949, Sunil Gavaskar concluded his remarkable Test career with 10,122 runs and 34 centuries in 125 matches, making him, at that time, the highest run scorer and most centuried batsman in Test cricket.

Acting and singing
He portrayed the lead role in the 1980 Marathi film Savli
Premachi, which unfortunately did not succeed. In 1988, he made a guest
appearance in the Hindi movie Mala Maal.
Gavaskar has also sung a Marathi song. Lata Mangeshkar
tweeted that Gavaskar is a memorable chapter in cricket and also has an
understanding of music.
